GB64 Recommended Games...

Mayhem in Monsterland
Mayhem says: Flashy, fast, slick... and highly playable. The pinnacle of console-like gaming on the C64.

Rick Dangerous
Neo-Rio says: Before they went on and did Tomb Raider, CORE designs came out with this platformer. A real playable platforming gem, complete with Tomb Raider style booby-traps!

Mission Elevator
Neo-Rio says: Elevator Action this is not, but a rather spiffy action adventure game in similar style. Get to the top of the hotel and diffuse the bomb, collecting the code and emergency exit keys on the way up.

Ghettoblaster
Neo-Rio says: This is another wacky game to timewarp you back to the 80s. Collect demo tapes, then blast pedestrians with the music! Deliver the tape before some freak breaks your ghettoblaster!

Granny's Garden
Neo-Rio says: If you're old enough to remember playing this game on a Commodore 64 at your primary school, then you will have fond memories of this game like I do.

Bugbomber
Neo-Rio says: This game makes the NES "Bomberman" games look lame and simplistic. Here you can have up to 4 players, loads of different weapons, and the ability to create your own drone army! This battle royale rocks!

Archon
Michael Plate says: Addicting two player arcade board game. A real classic!

FireTrap
Neo-Rio says: The 64 version of this game is easier to play than the arcade version, and is way more fun. Climb up some physically impossible shaped buildings, put out the fires, and dodge the flames and other weird things falling down on you!

Fury, The
Neo-Rio says: An overlooked gem. It's NASCAR with guns and powerups. Not so easy but not too difficult either. I found it very playable.
