GB64 Recommended Games...

Gyroscope
Neo-Rio says: Gyroscope is a blatant Marble Madness rip-off, but it's still pretty playable. The music was also pretty decent too.

Druid
J2003C says: This game is very fun and actually finishable without cheating. Better than Gauntlet, but only 1-2P. Golem controls for 1P are hard, but still fun. Chosing the right weapons and collecting the right treasures take experience and trial-and-error.

Flying Ace
Neo-Rio says: Not exactly the arcade "Sky Kid", but plenty of fun to be had here nevertheless. Despite the limited gameplay, the game is on the right side of frustrating to ensure you keep coming back.

Panther
Jimbo says: The 1st thing that hits you in this game is the thumping Dave Whittaker soundtrack. The 2nd thing that hits you is the urge to play it over and over again!

Frank Bruno's Boxing
Neo-Rio says: Nintendo's old "Punch Out" game gets the Commdore 64 clone treatment. The result is actually quite impressive (and includes the obligatory Rocky tune), although some of the boxers get nigh impossible later on.

Red Moon
Neo-Rio says: Red Moon is not your typical adventure game. It's part RPG as well, and it's also massively huge and detailed. It was hailed for its greatness back in the day.

Gordian Tomb
Neo-Rio says: With a little persistance, this game is not *too* hard to finish, but it is still a lot of fun. Most breathtaking though, is the 32-minute soundtrack!

Street Sports Baseball
graveyardjohn says: "Yer Out!", rang the smug cry when it was time to swap players on this one. Take ages to decide which kids to have on your team, then argue about the amount of wide balls which are thrown! Aaahh...the game to bring back memories of that childish bickering...

Aztec Challenge
Neo-Rio says: A classic game, probably remembered more for the music than the game itself. It's an incan multi-event game, complete with death traps.
