GB64 Recommended Games...

Leaderboard Golf
Pugsy says: The best golf game on the 64, it's another one of those games that kept you coming back for more..and it's hardly dated either!

Turrican II - The Final Fight
Neo-Rio says: Turrican II is one game for the Commodore 64 that really pushes it's technical limitations, and yet is every bit as engrossing as the 16-bit conversions.

Gateway to Apshai
J2003C says: The looks are deceptive here. Completing each dungeon takes skill, patience, experience and knowlege about the monsters. Quite addictive!

Potty Pigeon
Neo-Rio says: The one and only bird simulation game! Build your nest while 'defecating' on passing cars and people! They don't make games like this anymore (probably just as well).

Galaxy
Neo-Rio says: An official version of the arcade classic "Galaga" never made it to the Commodore 64, but this knock-off is a very good one which has all the excellent features of the original.

Fist+
graveyardjohn says: OK, its an 'IK+' rip-off, but it plays quite well. The between-round game where you throw knives in 3D at oncoming ninjas is very addictive, and keeps you coming back for more.

Street Sports Basketball
J2003C says: The fighting and no-rules style of play are really fun and funny. AI is easy to beat, so 2P is always more challenging. Too bad you can't play this physical in real life!

Flimbo's Quest
Neo-Rio says: This is one very polished game.... Great music, beautiful graphics, and a very playable game. All this means many hours of fun. Not to be missed by anyone.

Rocket Ranger
Neo-Rio says: Cinemaware, true to their name, produced this game experience on par with a 50s matinee movie. The graphics and sound create a tense and exciting atmosphere, not too unlike Cinemaware's other games.
