GB64 Recommended Games...

Lords of Conquest
J2003C says: This is an obscure game that should have been famous. Based on the board game Borderlands, it is only when played with 3-4P without randomness that it becomes an addictive, fantastic strategy game. It only takes about 1 hour to play a game, but you will be talking about it for days afterwards!

Slicks
Neo-Rio says: Codemasters released many of these overhead racing games, but this is surely one of the best. This one screams at you to play it over and over.

Guessing Game
J2003C says: This is the best, and only, 1 block game in the GBC. You'll try to guess the number, then try to guess why in the world you ever loaded this game!

Telengard
Neo-Rio says: Telengard is just one of the early classic RPGs that you can keep playing almost to infinity (and nearly had me doing). Watch those wraiths and specters, they'll nick your exeprience levels!

Monopole CBM-64
Neo-Rio says: The classic boardgame got the BASIC V2.0 treatment early on in the C64's life. It's great fun and nostalgic for me, because I learnt some cool programming tricks from the listing.

BC II - Grog's Revenge
Neo-Rio says: The sequel to BC's Quest for Tires. Very tricky and suspenseful arcade game. You'll scare yourself when Grog catches up to you! Great fun.

Batalyx
Neo-Rio says: This is Jeff Minter's C64 psychadelic masterpiece. Just don't play this game on any mind altering drugs, and be careful if you have epilepsy. This game will warp your head!

Dropzone
Mayhem says: Utterly superb shooter based on Stargate by Archer Maclean. If you can't beat it, copy it!

Last Ninja III
Neo-Rio says: The Last Ninja series were classic games for the Commodore 64. The final game in the series is perhaps the most graphically and sonically impressive, and the end sequence is the best I've seen on the C64.
