GB64 Recommended Games...

Hover Bovver
Michael Plate says: I hate mowing but not this small nice game by Jeff Minter. Try to finish your job without getting caught by your neighboor or his dog.

BMX Simulator
graveyardjohn says: An early Codemasters game, complete with a completely non-prejudiced 'stunning' type quote from one of the Darling bros. Race around the seven tracks and beat the time limit, but watch out for the indestructible computer opponent!

Racing Destruction Set
Neo-Rio says: This game is great for 2 players. It's like playing slot cars, except you can also use wepons on the track if you like! Loads of tracks to play on, and you have a track/vehicle designer as well!

Hard'n'Heavy
Neo-Rio says: An unofficial "sequel" to Giana Sisters, this game is just as addictive and playable, although the gameplay differs slightly... just in case Giana Sisters wasn't enough for you.

Wheel of Fortune
Neo-Rio says: I think everyone has had fantasies about playing this game on TV. And unlike console versions of this game, the C64 lets you save your winnings on the Champions list so you can come back to play on the show!

Bushido
Neo-Rio says: Quite a polished platform action game. A little tricky to get into at first, but after a while, you'll be exploring the dungeons and slashing away at your enemies.

Ultima IV - Quest of the Avatar
Steve says: a true classic role-playing game. The C=64 version is the best version of that game available. I still remember spending night after night on my quest through Britannia.

Mercenary - Escape from Targ
Mayhem says: A game where you can go anywhere and do almost anything. Stuck on Targ with no idea how to get off, it's time to explore, sell and figure out how to leave. And a game to show that yes the C64 can do fast moving vectors!

Last Battle
Neo-Rio says: This game is actually the Nintendo "Hokuto-no-ken" game for the C64. Hokuto-no-ken is, of course, the Japanese animation where martial artists punch way too much and kick people's heads off. Fun game though.
