GB64 Recommended Games...

Stormlord
Neo-Rio says: An immensely beautiful platform game, with some great music and playability. A bit frustrating at times, but not enough to keep you coming back.

4x4 Off-Road Racing
J2003C says: This is a very good racing game. It takes racing skills and some strategy and planning with the supplies to be able to finish in first place.

Wings of Fury
Neo-Rio says: A classic on the Apple ][, the C64 version doesn't disappoint either. Unlike Choplifter, you get rewarded for blasting the little people off the ground in this game!

Arcade Classics
graveyardjohn says: An excellent Firebird 1.99 game, with four classic arcade games - Spacewar, Snakes, Space Invaders and Asteroids, and a top Hubbard heavy-rock soundtrack.

Karateka
Neo-Rio says: Classic early beat-em up. We used to sneak into the classroom during lunchtime to play this game when the teacher wasn't looking. Good memories of my school days.

Way of the Exploding Fist, The
Neo-Rio says: The great music, the fantastic graphics, the intelligent gameplay, are all things we remember about this fighting game. Not to mention the sampled Bruce Lee "Hiiyaaah" taken from the movie "Enter the Dragon", heard on the loading screen.

Hover Bovver
Michael Plate says: I hate mowing but not this small nice game by Jeff Minter. Try to finish your job without getting caught by your neighboor or his dog.

Streets of London
Neo-Rio says: What a ridiculous text adventure game! Silly jokes, a near unfathomable map, and the chance to mug old ladies for the bus fare are all part of your journey to find the Holy Grail in modern day London!

Choplifter
Pugsy says: One of the first great games on the C64, and one of the few home computer games to get converted to the arcade.
