GB64 Recommended Games...

Ballblazer
graveyardjohn says: Imagine being one of the hand-held bats in a gigantic 3D game of Air Hockey, but add a pair of moving goals, and you have an addictive 2 player game.

Spy vs Spy
Neo-Rio says: Classic game, first of a trilogy of like-minded games featuring MAD magazine's characters. Controls are a bit tricky, but once mastered it's a blast (literally) to outsmart your opponent with deadly traps.

Hot Shot
graveyardjohn says: A hybrid of Breakout and Arkanoid, you destroy the blocks while your opponent does the same. The ball can move between yours and your opponents space, so watch out!

Hat Trick
J2003C says: Very close to the arcade game. Great feel and good response to joystick input. Makes a great 2P game too. Very challenging on the expert setting.

AMC - Attack of the Mutant Camels
graveyardjohn says: A blatant Empire-Strikes-Back-derivative AT-AT/camel hybrid, I am a lucky owner of a signed copy by Jeff Minter! Essential blasting!

Rambo - First Blood Part II
Neo-Rio says: Da na na na nah.... na na nah... Yeah this game was the most popular one out back in '86

Daley Thompson's Olympic Challenge
Neo-Rio says: Daley Thompson has a lot to answer for. The games he graced, especially this one, were primarily responsible for thousands of broken joysticks all around the world.

Spy School
graveyardjohn says: 4 different games in one, but pay attention 007, and do try and remember where the walls are before they turn invisible!

Starfox
Neo-Rio says: This is like the poor-man's Elite. Not as complicated as that title, but still easier to get into and rewarding when you actually manage to find planets to land on.
