i feel your pain!

have you lost all the files (everything!!),
or just the GameBase MDB file?.
if the MDB is corrupt, i might be able to fix it.

if you still have the files, i might add them to my copy.

If you still have ALL the game files and Extras.

You can create a text file from the directory.
Then paste that filename list into MS Access.
you will still loose the company, programmer data.
but all game files will be linked and ready to play.

If you used a website resource for the company data?.
There is a quicker way of creating a MDB from that.
But once created you will need to link most if not all the games manually.

As for me doing it.
I already have MSX1 and MSX2 GameBases.
But i will add any of the New/Missing files you still have.

Hi Seiya, here you have the GameBase MSX World (WIP)(Work in Progress) 11-June-2015.
Mainly MSXdev' games and games that were in MSX Games World web page that are not in Gamebases msx1 and msx2 from 2008...

i tried some games and i see that it is much in wip.
much of them don't start with included emulators..
i have tried myself to add your same games to old msx 1 emulators but not working for the same errors: out of memory, disk offline and error in run"cas_" instead of run"cas:"

Yes, is wip. The games starting with number and a few starting with a are correctly configured, and the games from MSXdev' too...
The others, if is cas maybe you have to put in the gemus "cas=cload" or cas=bload, you dont need to put cas=run because is the default value.
And for the error run cas you must to put your keyboard to United Kingdom in the start/control panel.

Will you work on this GameBase ?

i thinking to remade it from scratch but in two different gamebase

MSX World and MSX 2 World

in the first only MSX and MSX turbo
in the secondo MSX2 and MSX2+

i have all files and script, so the only problems is re-insert all entries and extra.

downloaded the WIP, thanks.

re-starting from scratch, is not really an option for me.

the main game sets you are using (TOSEC/GOOD), are the same used in the MSX1 and MSX2 gamebases.

Lord kelevar and myself spent 2 years sorting and fixing those collections...

Repacked the games into single archives.

Renamed the disks to the GameBase standard
so the 2nd disk gets inserted automatically.

Deleted all the duplicates and bad files.

snapping screenshots over several months, while play testing all the games.

---
i will check all the files you uploaded in romcenter against my gamebase collections, add any new/missing games to mine.

if you would like to use my gamebases as a huge stepping stone, that is also ok with me.

I will download your gamebase too .mad., and the Seiya ones, but maybe i will continue working on MSX World GameBase.

.mad. i think only a few games uses the second drive, in most of them only uses drive A:

I have a working version of the game called Akin (Unprotected)
And a lot of more games that came in this torrent:

https://thepiratebay.la/torrent/5527215 ... tion_v1.02

In this torrent there is also a working version of Invaders Revenge, the one in tosec reboots when the game starts...
