Is there a Sega Game Gear GameBase?

as the title suggests, I'm wondering if there is a Sega Game Gear Gamebase created. I searched on Underground Gamer and this fourm and couldn't find anything relevant. Thanks in advance :)

I don't know too much about the system, but it looks like Game Gear was added to the Master System gamebase at some point. http://www.gb64.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... =game+gear

There is a Master System gamebase on UG, but I think it is an older version. Unfortunately, aside from UG I don't know of any download spots at the moment.

You're welcome, feel free to change it or add to it if you'd like just maybe mention me in the credits somehow.. At one point long ago I did Gamebases for most systems but it has been awhile.. anyway, have fun with it. Also since it's been so long I'm sure that there are probably newer versions or better emulators for it now so you might want to update that as well.

get the Sega Mark III Gamebase.
This is the Japanese title for the Master system.
it also contains all the Game Gear roms with music and covers.

the best way is to use the game filters to show the system you want. (2 clicks of the mouse)

But to answer your question, yes it's possible to make two seperate gamebases.

make a copy of the MDB.
rename to GG.mdb, put it in a folder called GG.
load it into gamebase.
use the filters to show SMS, SG1, SG2 games and delete them all.

Thanks .mad. I did what you said and it's working well.

I only did it for Game Gear but I saw many different systems (differents than Game Gear and Master System).

There are file like .mv, or .sc what it this?

Thanks !

they are games for consoles / computers
which pre-dated the Master System / Sega Mark III

mv = Othello Multivision (OMV) (SG-1000 clone)
sg = Sega Game 1000 (SG-1000)
sc = Sega Computer 3000 (SC-3000)
sf = Sega Super Control Station (SF-7000)
