Is it possibile to split it up so games and the rest of the Gamebase are separate, or is this too much hassle for you? At least in torrents I prefer the ability to download it folder-wise.

Acornmania v2.1 (part 1)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JJJZ8BQH

Extras (part2)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZYFH99O1

Thanks to Mark for letting me update this. icon_biggrin.gif

To Confirm.
This is the same AcornMania v2 that was removed from UG.
complete with Emulators and ROMs icon_wink.gif

it has been cleaned up and updated with new screens, restored games, mp3 music and new BEEBEM SCRIPT.
This should Auto-Configure the emulator for game file type.
example
turning Disk drive off when loading Tapes.

if a tape doesn't load, Slow the Tape loading time down.
adding TAPE=SLOW to the GEMUS

Let's hope the links last a little longer on Megaupload. icon_rolleyes.gif

--
you will need to configure the GameBase setup yourself,
edit ALL 3 INI files in notepad...

Emulators.ini
Paths.ini
MusicPlayers.ini

and change ALL file references to where you decide to install it.

this is where i have the emulator setup and working.
C:\Program Files\GameBase\Acornmania\Emulators\BeebEm\UserData\preferences.cfg

Replace this with your favourite Media Player location...
PlayerPathFile=C:\Program Files\Combined Community Codec Pack\MPC\mpc-hc.exe

IT'S TIME TO PLAY.

The Electron Part Of This Gamebase doesnt seem to work icon_sad.gif

Whenever I click on a Electron Game, electrem starts up and loads the game but then the graphics corrupt and you can hear the sounds of the game but the graphics are messed up. The BBC games work fine though.

Its not Electrem thats causing the problem because if I load them outside gamebase manually there are find its just inside the gamebase so there must be a script bug somewhere.

There is nothing in the script that would mess the video up.

try using this it might help.
Code:

Add_CLP(%gamepathfile%)
Run_Emulator()

Have you tried lots of Acorn games or just a couple.
maybe they are configured wrong.
please give a title for me to test.

edit the Electrem.cfg and change the video settings.

I know Haven (Disk) Versions sometimes need to be loaded twice for them to work (buggy menu graphics) in electrem.
All Tapes should be OK.

press f2 on the game that isn't working
and delete "emu=electrem" and replace with "model=03"
it will then try to load it in Beebem.

Not helpful i know, but it is working for me. icon_confused.gif

Ok I Found the Problem. In The ElectrEm Preferences There is a Check Box Called 'Emulate A Modified Electron' and For some reason when its ticked It screws up the Graphics when you load a game from gamebase but When It unticked everything is Ok.

Thanks.

Glad you sorted it out, that box wasn't ticked for me.

Electrem seems to have problems with some disk loaders.
This small update should load all the Electron (Haven Disks) in Elkulator now.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V8AZLE1Q

copy the Elkulator.txt file to the script folder and replace the mdb file with this one.

Thanks very much to all involvd for the previous versions and the update to this database.

PS - Follow .mads. install instructions and don't use the gamebase UI to select the emulators (from the gemus menu) - because if you do you loose the .cfg associations for the emus and it causes a load of grief!!!! (That was the original content of this post but there doesn't seem to be a "delete" - just edit)
