For those that are unaware, GamebaseAMY died long ago (I think Runey's HD died?). Since then, there have been 2 alternatives to Amiga frontend's:
- Lemonade - Kim Lemon's custom made frontend. It looks nice, but is limited and buggy (at times).
- GBAmiga - This is what GamebaseAMY should have been!
GBAmiga is available from http://gbamiga.elowar.com/ . The official support forums are at http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?f=76 . It's fairly active and is well supported (Belgarath, the creator, posts on EAB frequently). It uses the Gamebase frontend and contains screenshots, boxscans, music, hints/tips/walkthroughs and instructions for certain games. Not only does it support ADF files (preconfigured with the best possible configurations!) but also supports IPF files (which are basically the Amiga disks with all protection intact), and soon WHDLoad installed games! (which basically means no more disk swapping or manual protections, etc. You can run your HD installed Amiga games with just 1 click!).
So for those of you still waiting for GamebaseAMY to be updated, you should look at GBAmiga. GamebaseAMY is presumably dead (I'm fairly sure Runey said this....I think he said he wanted to move onto a Gamebase for Amiga demos? I really can't remember). GBAmiga has been around since christmas 2005 and has come from strength to strength. Switch to it! |

It would seem so. I think the author had some family issues at some point
As you are a master of GB projects (at least by looking at the amount your releases that I have downloaded at UG), did I read something between the lines? |

Sorry but i'm too busy with Atari800 and Speccymania updates to do it. Would be good for someone else to take up the role. _________________ Gamebase Developer of:
