Help renaming games. ClrMame

How exactly do I use clrmame to rename my games? I've used it many years ago for mame but I had an exe file to work with. I have downloaded GoodGB64 from cowerings site, but there is no exe, only a few batch files (which don't work - can't find the files) and a dat.
What exactly do I need to do here? I really want to play a few fav's, and get everything setup and working properly. I searched the forums also, which got me to this point.
Edit: All my games are zipped btw. I really hope zip format is supported.. 17,000+ games to unzip is a daunting task.
