please post it here.
it uses retroarch which is the VICE.DLL, so that folder is a good place to start looking for config files.
There are so many shaders and filters for HD screen modes, i would try to change or disable as many as possible.
and look for a more "normal" SD setting 1024x768 or 800x600.
i know SDL2 VICE had a problem openening the Emulator Window off the screen.
and you had to drag the window manually back to a viewable position, everytime you opened it.
which gets annoying very quickly.
it got fixed for Gtk3 VICE, but SDL version remained broken.
Re: c64 dreams
i would need to see an example of the code that runs the emulator/game.
please post it here.

Re: c64 dreams
Hi Mad,
I have been looking for shaders and set to standard but no difference....
C64 has been cut off left and right, thats a shame because retroarch looks very nice.
This is a bit too complicated for me to find, i hope there is an easy way....
Code?, pleasy specify this for me, i;m getting old,,,,,

which is beyond your monitor limits.
or it's the mega bezel option which adds graphics to the left and right of the c64 screen.
remove bezel?
there will be a screen dimention setting stored somewhere in a config file (CFG, INI)
this should be in retroarch or root folder.
if not, it could be stored in a batch / script file (VBS, CMD, BAT, AHK)
hopefully it's a global setting, and not stored in several places.
you could always ask zombeaver over on lemon where he put the setting.

i am sure you are not the only one with the same problem.

that sounds to me like it's running at a stupid hi-res mode (4k).
