PSP (speedup edition)
Image

Preconfigured to:
1. Work with 2 modes:
- Pleasure (display filters activated)
- Retro (original display, no enhacements)
2. Work with another 3 modes:
- Convenient (keyboard or X1/X360 joypads with Xpadder, full screen)
- Simultaneous (no keyboard support, direct X1/X360 joypads support, full screen)
- Secure (use at Your work - no traces, only keyboard supported, window mode)
3. Access manual directly within Gamebase (Help/User manual)

Gamebase_core.exe is a key to enable these features.

Changes:
- all games repacked from RAR5 compression BEST to CSO compression 9 (highest).
- all database entries changed to new game files
- PSP_update.exe implemented (previously released for poles)

There is only 1 new game here, visible on the screen above (now You know this shit :P). It's 'speedup edition' to speedup loading process for non-SSD disks. Small update will be released before Sunday.

Pros:
- games load in between 0-2 sec., depends on disk type (previously - up to 1 minute)

Cons:
- compilation occupies 39 GB (previously - 34 GB)

Download (39 GB):

Code: Select all

gamebase3.skroc.pl
or

Code: Select all

@manuguan (PSP GB).
I don't think the 40 GB will be uploaded again.

The Original download is still available....

register a free account on 4shared to activate the download links.

Just download and link all the individual ISOs you want.
That's exactly what we all had to do for the GB release.
you can get the ISOs from the same site as the GBA roms. ;)

Hi, Sjakie :)

RetroPie Attract Mode 32GB [2018 Edition]
Image
A compilation with dedication for all, brought up in the times of previous generation consoles and machines. To play games from the following systems, you need Raspberry Pi 3, a 32GB microSD card and a joypad. The card image is a self-running compilation, using max. Raspberry Pi 3 CPU power. You can use this compilation forever, without incurring any fees, but you can't profit from it! I spent over a year on this and now I give it to you for free!

The compilation includes:
- 30 games from the predecessor of machines - Vectrex (including: Berzerk, Mine Storm, Pole Position, Scramble ...)
- 430 slot games from the 'golden age' (including 1943, Arkanoid, Frogger, Galaga, Gauntlet, Mortal Kombat, Pengo ...)
- 115 games from CPS 1/2/3 slot machines (including: Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Final Fight, Marvel Super Heroes, Street Fighter II ...)
- 150 games from Neo-Geo class machines (including: King of Fighters, Metal Slug, Puzzle Bobble, Sonic Wings ...)
- 600 games from the Atari 2600 console (including: Fast Eddie, H.E.R.O, Keystone Kapers, River Raid ...)
- 800 games from the NES / Pegazus console (including: Balloon Fight, Bomberman, Contra, Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros ...)
- 800 games from the Super NES console (including: Blackthorne, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Zool ...)
- 300 games from the Sega Master System console (including: Alex Kidd, Chuck Rock, Out Run, Prince of Persia ...)
- 800 games from the Sega Megadrive / Genesis console (among others: Addams Family, Ghouls' n Ghosts, Sonic the Hedgehog, Xenon 2 ...)
- 35 games from the Sega 32X console (including: BC Racers, Doom, Primal Rage, WWF Wrestlemania ...)
- 100 games from the TurboGrafx-16 console (including: Bonk's Adventure, New Adventure Island, Parasol Stars, R-Type ...)
- 25 games from the Sony Playstation console (including: Crash Bandicoot, Klonoa, Medievil, Quake II, Spyro the Dragon, Tekken 3 ...)

The compilation supports optimized controls for:
- keyboards (wired and wireless)
- Microsoft pads: XBOX 360, XBOX ONE, XBOX ONE S (wired)
- 8bit pads: FC30 Pro, NES30 Pro, Zero (wireless - they should be paired first)
- arcade controllers: Xin-Mo (wired)
By default, 'Microsoft pads' is the active control mode. In order to change it, you have to replace the files for Attract Mode and RetroArch (included).

In addition, every game in every system can also be controlled with:

- SELECT + LB - load the saved game state
- SELECT + LT - save the current state of the game
- SELECT + RB - pause the game
- SELECT + RT - accelerate the speed of the game (10 times faster)
- SELECT + L3 - go back in the game with accuracy to a fraction of a second (max. of 2 minutes)
- SELECT + R3 - make a screen from the current state of the game

If this compilation causes you to fly back to old times, as a gratitude you can send me a postcard from your city. Of course, you do not have to do it, but I'll be happy with it. .mad. sent me postcard in past - THANKS :D

P.S. I've decided to not continue work on this compilation due to not enough power of Raspberry Pie 3B CPU. Too much of compromises makes upgrading inconvenient.

n-j0y ... and Happy Easter 2018! :)

Sjakie: You may just download the image file and write to Your microSD card. The compilation I gave You link is ready to run out of the box and probably contains plenty of games You like. As about adding new games, sometimes it is pain in the ass. Not only because plenty of games need specific emulators. Better to find finished compilations on Youtube.

As about mine 32GB edition - it is focused on No-Intro games for the most popular consoles and arcades. Also released 128GB edition, but decided to not upload/post to public, due to not enough of CPU power and maany of slow-downs. Better to use PC with: Emulation Station, Attract Mode, Hyperspin or Launchbox.

After a while of break and resigning continuation of updating RetroPie (due to not enough of CPU power) I moved to Launchbox. As for beginning I want to advert my short movie mix:

Code: Select all

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh0nfkbOM2Q
I've started learning Launchbox/RocketLauncher since 2 weeks and now I'm working on Arcade Classics for Launchbox (and Big Box, which is part of Launchbox), which will be released this month. Arcade Classics for LB "may" contain complete list of games, which I released with MAME Mini v196 compilation (1100 of games) :)

Stay tuned!

'MAME MINI' v197

The compilation contains resources from various places. It's up to date as for 2018.04.25 and contains more than 1100 of games with screenshots. Games preconfigured to be controlled with keyboard or X1/X360 pads, up to 2 players at once. Global controls and specific controls in CTRLR file and individual .cfg files . Games can be played with different display modes (includes auto-rotation for vertical games). To change display mode - use MAMEsetter (in uploaded package).

MAMEsetter is a batch file that does auto-configuration for all games (globally and individually). The compilation is with WINRAR SFX format to easy, automated installation. The compilation has NO virus, NO trojan, NO keylogger. If You don't trust me, check downloaded package with Your favourite antivirus.

'MAME Mini v197', 'Manual.txt' and screenshots available here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sJuond9wDi

Games available in the compilation are part of the new 'Arcade Classics' for Launchbox which I finished when MAME/ARCADE/HBMAME v197was released, but must do some tests yet. Will be released in May 2018.

PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE LINK OR ANY PART OF THIS COMPILATION OUTSIDE OF THE GAMEBASE FORUM!

MAME Mini v197b [updates, new games, fixes]

The package contains:
- MAME/ARCADE compilation (games, screens, configs, mappings, icons, nvram, support files)
- MAMEsetter (batch program to automate displays and controls)

All games have proper aspect ratio set. Keep in mind that this is incompatible with RocketLauncher and bezels. So dont use provided cfg files in Launchbox with bezels enabled. I'll provide correct cfg files for LB and bezels with 'Arcade Classics' - this month.

HBMAME MINI v197

32 games added to the compilation, based on my preferences (as for 2018.05.03). These games are definitelly worth of playing.

The compilation is compatible with 'MAMEsetter.exe'.

Pleasure Mode (OpenGL shader) DOES NOT work with HBMAME!
Pivot Mode at global level DOES NOT work with HBMAME!
Glow effect for vector games DOES NOT work with HBMAME!

Download:

Code: Select all

P.S. These (and other) games are also part of 'Arcade Classics' for Launchbox - the compilation which I'm working on...
