We could not have done this without the great guys from CSDB.
Offcourse also all people that have contributed to this collection
through the years.(and thats a LOT of people)

Sorry to be a pain but I'm missing 191 screenshots, I no longer had V1 of this gamebase, is it possible these were in that?

Hi Paul,

This is a totally NEW C64 DemoBase.
we called it v2, so it would not get confused with the c64.ch demobase.

The missing screens are probably correct.
I have 369 missing. As i haven't updated with Sjakie43's screenshot pack yet.

some Demo entries are Source code or missing files.
These still have a screenshot file linked, as i linked every demo entry with an ID numbered PNG file.
This was done in a cut and paste from a generated list, to save months of work. ;)

To confirm, check if some missing screens also have a missing demo, or no screen via the CSDb web link.

Cheers as always .mad, I'll leave it be then, it was just I did the obligatory verify files thing and bingo, just the screens missing.

Thanks again...

Paul..

I downloaded the torrent. In the first place, I downloaded the Zip files only, overlooked the Z01...Z08 files, so the Demos archive seemed to be corrupt.

I also have 191 missing screenshots, most of them indeed from entries without a runnable file.
I removed the screenshots from the database entries without an runnable file linked to it and added 1 or 2 screenshots from csdb.org.

Hi folks,

Just a quick one. Is anyone else getting an unexpected end of archive on Demos.z01?

Tried 7zip and winrar (v5) and both report that error. I've re-downloaded the file just in case but still have that error.

Thanks again all.

Not tested it.
But you need to have all 9 parts before it will unpack.
ZIP, Z01 - Z08

WinRAR should unpack with the DEMOS.ZIP file.

Also, if you are downloading through your web browser, you may need to clear the cache, and then download again.
I have a lot of respect for Gamebase creators, maintainers & supporters.

make sure on the download page you click SHOW ALL as there are files that are by accident hidden until you click that...

Yes, we all made the same mistake :)
