Have never noticed any issues what millansoft and .mad. states, but I can upload my alternative version.

Mind you, they are only minor tweaks, such as how the fonts, tite, personal comment stand out, etc. and since i only focused it only own personal perference I'm sure the tweaks would be rejected.

The bigger things come next, but right now I'm much happier with it, just replace the gamebase.exe with your old one (Backup first though)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/n64mzw <= the exe file.

and the source (as is) if anyone wants to go from there...

Video support and a place where you can write the keys for the default emulator you use in each different game base.

as far as i know???...
there are only a few cosmetic tweaks with the software fonts.
so it looks better when using a win7 theme.

i don't see any bug fixes, as mentioned above in the release.

maybe underfly is still working on it. :)

I don't think James will release an update as he is busy with other things. A conversion to VB.Net is more important.

No there isn't a GameBase v1.4.

I can confim with a message exchange i had with Jimbo, that the SLUG project isn't dead.
He is still working on the database engine, but not as often as he would like.

maybe Jimbo can tell us more news... 8)
