Treasure Island

Hello people. Having been a avid C64 user decades ago now, i was always entralled by the Windham classic game, Treasure Island. Recently I found out I could play my favorite C64 on modern machine, so I started with Treasure Island again, 20 years later.

My question is, I'm stuck. haha. Does anyone remember this game? If so I'm stuck right at the beginning after talking to Billy Bones, I go upstairs but can't open the door, tried everything. What am I doing wrong?
