painter coubois software

The screenshot shows the buliding being paninted white but when I play any version the paint is always black. Is this a type in game? I am sick of running into basic type in games with graphic glitches because people don't bother to fix them.

No idea why it's painting black for you.
But there are errors/ bits missing in the BASIC.
Compared with the Tronic Verlag GmbH/Computronic version.
The game screen draws 1 line out, so you can't see the creatures in the window. (see screen shots)
you can load and edit the BASIC in this version.

The problem you see is not a type-in fault but rather an incompatibility towards the old C64 kernal CCS64 is using. If you copy the one VICE is using over to CCS the fault will disappear...
