Hi Guys,
I have a problem when I try to setup a music player in the Music Player Tab of Gamebase.
When I select the path to the player I do not have a "OK" prompt on the screen to confirm changes. If I close the setup window I got a prompt message stating that no save has been performed and that changes will not take effect.
I am using Gamebase 1.3. Any idea?
Thanks
Rick

To be honest I normally cheat and copy the musicplayer.ini file from the older version, and just fix the path manually.
To answer your question though, all of the boxes must be filled in to have access to the OK button. You must fill out the name manually. Can be anything you want, it does not need to match the file name. Also need to set Supported File Types to SID;

Hi Hidron,
This problem pops up with all Gamebase pack installed but it is ok for C64 Gamebase.
I am using for example CPC gamebase and need to change the default music player with another one provided in the package.
You say I can manualy edit the musicplayer ini to do the trick?

here is an example of various music players.
all paths must be set to wherever the player is.
The PLAYERS NAME must match exactly with the [square bracket name]
if you want only one player to play a certain file type, you must delete that file extension in SupportedTypes from all the other players.
also you might need to know the command line for the player (if it has one)
YMP95 for example has...
CommandLineParams=/f /q %musicfile%
The default for most music players...
CommandLineParams=%musicfile%
just load and edit the MusicPlayers.ini in notepad.repetto74 wrote: I am using for example CPC gamebase and need to change the default music player with another one provided in the package.
