How to increase No. Trainers field

Wed Mar 03, 2004 11:06 pm

I need to increase the No. Trainers field from 1000 to at least 1024 for a new Gamebase I'm doing. Does anybody know how to do this within a user created Gamebase directory :?:

The reason I'm asking is that I have renamed this field 'Memory Required' for a new 16-bit Gamebase, and 99% of the games for this Gamebase require either 512K or 1024K memory.

I'm not completely sure but I think the range is hard coded in the main program.

It is easily possible to modify these values via MS Access so they have values bigger than 1000.

When adding the games just enter a unique value (e.g. 777) for all titles needing 1024K memory. Before the next releas do a global replacement (777 => 1024) in Access.

Ciao,
Michael
