Thanks, great work.

I've downloaded everything apart from the games from your site...at my full speed (single file + thread), impressive server

Just got to do a clrmame build of what games I've got (8 month old TOSEC set & Amiga Tribute 2 - WHDLoad Edition. I imagine filling any holes however is not going to be easy.

Any chance of a .dat file for the WHD files that are supported, I've got the WHDLoad Games dat file from here :-

http://www.romshepherd.com/dats.php?whd

and it seems fairly massive :(

I don't trust pc datfiles with WHD games, amiga filenames can be funny and dats won't handle them properly.

For WHD games you should download them from KGWHD

As it's only KGWHD installs that are supported

I personally know the guy and he does an excellent job making these installs and checks that he's always using the latest working versions and images.

As for how many of them are supported by GameBase Amiga...
er probably 95% of them!

I repacked ALL files from the Gamebase Amiga V1.5, split them into 4 pieces and put them on edonkey.

It's a 0 Missing set.
It will be powershared until 6.Jan.2008.
So grab it NOW.

You can find the 4 ed2k links on my page in the Amiga section

I finally got my act together and installed GB Amiga.
Awesome work Belgarath, and ofcourse to all the others who have contributed to this project :D

Btw may I suggest that you add Labyrinth in the next update.
It's no big deal tho, I can always add it in my own setup. ;)
I have the diskimage if you don't have it (I seem to remember some kind soul once put it in the zone at EAB).

Hey Belgarath

I know it's a bit late to post in this thread, but I wanted to give you some feedback. I have downloaded everything and set it up as necessary, but it would appear that 5 WHDLoad games are not found. I have double checked my downloads from Killer Gorillas site but the files in question are not included.
Details are:
Extras not found: 5/8854
e:\GameBase Amiga\Extras\

8394 WHDLoad WHDLoad\Academy_v1.0.zip 50 Academy - Tau Ceti II
6932 WHDLoad WHDLoad\BackToTheFuturePart2_v1.2_0005.zip 236 Back to the Future Part II
7749 WHDLoad WHDLoad\GhostBattle_v1.0.zip 1282 Ghost Battle
8023 WHDLoad WHDLoad\KingOfChicago_v1.0.zip 1700 King of Chicago, The
8615 WHDLoad WHDLoad\AigleDOr_v1.1_Fr_.zip 4815 L'Aigle d'Or - Le Retour

Outstanding work though. It is a real joy to have access to all my old favorites, and without having to set up my miggy all over again.

Thank you for all your efforts.
:D :D :D :D

Hi

Academy was removed by KG because it doesn't quite work right.

BTTF2 was also removed by KG as it experiences a very bad slowdown partway through the game.

Ghost Battle was removed by KG as it doesn't work on real amigas..although it does work fine on winuae.

King of Chicago and L'Aigle d'Or were updated and have different filenames.

The first 3 have now been removed from GB Amiga and the last two have been updated. The New GB Amiga release will be out in a week or two :)

Hey Belgarath,

Thanks for your reply.

I look forward to the next update.

It's so brilliant to be able to play all the 21st century pinball games the way they were meant to be played. i.e. On an Amiga.

Awesome.
