CoCo Emulator

Sun Nov 16, 2014 4:46 pm

i'd like to make this gambase. I found cassette, disk and rom games and any bios for Mess and other emulator like VCC and Xoar.
The problem is that i need script file.

Xoar run very well cassette image from gamebase.
VCC run very well roms, but not from gamebase and i don't know i to tell it how to load roms.
Mess is configured for any image, but..how to run from gamebase?

The scripts from my CoCo3/ TRS80 gamebase from a few years ago should still work with the latest version of MESS.

I Just need to remember which hard drive it's on. :roll:

Here is a copy of the contents of mad's CoCo script folder. https://www.sendspace.com/file/kk42c2

Some notes I saw in the emulators.ini file you may want to see. One note though, he either forgot to remove CAS files from Vcc or added it back later.
; Removed CAS files from supported filetypes in Vcc, as they need to be loaded manually from the emulator window.
; only a handfull fail to load and those work in Xroar.
; Vcc can cause GameBase to shut down at random.
;
; Xroar has a better Tape loading sucess rate. Ice/Crystal Castles, Bubble Buster (color).
; But only the coco 1&2 machines are emulated.
;
; Some Disk and Tape images fail to attach via GameBase in MESS.
; The emulator just quits/fails to run. but those images can be added manually from the UI. :?
I have a lot of respect for Gamebase creators, maintainers & supporters.

no..it's impossible..
disk and roms don't work mess or vcc..
vcc it works by hand for roms..

so in this way..better not lost time to make a partial working base..
very pity because i found so many extras..
