Great stuff Tubbs, excellent update.
Oh and a small update for your script :-
; PAL ghosting? (yes/no) <-- opengl only
Set_INI_Value(1||options||palghosting|| no)
The option being set before was "palghost" which was incorrect even though it was in the original emulator .ini file.

Hmm, not sure. Everything is working fine here. Make sure that your GEMUS script is pointing to the 'Oricutron.txt' file in the Scripts folder and not the 'Gemus.ini' file.
Also, I'm confused by your script update OX as my script already has the correct setting that you just posted. Very strange

It looks like he turned palghost into palghosting on the 2nd line.
Have not seen a problem either, but I have only tried 20 or so random games.Hmm, not sure. Everything is working fine here. Make sure that your GEMUS script is pointing to the 'Oricutron.txt' file in the Scripts folder and not the 'Gemus.ini' file.
The 2 do seem to be a bit different. The script from the copy I just downloaded shows:Also, I'm confused by your script update OX as my script already has the correct setting that you just posted. Very strange

Ah, thanks for clearing that up Hidron, I've not woken up properly yet. So I assume that with the old script line, Ghosting would be OFF but you would not be able to set it to ON due to the error? I always have it set to OFF anyway so I wouldn't have picked up on this error.

This is some examples :
Aigle d'Or,L' --> Oricutron didnt launch
Aiglon --> OK
Alien 2000 --> Oricutron launch without the tape's file associated.
I just realized that when i have a space in the dir name the file isnt associated (Aigle D'or, L',Alien 2000, Alien Blitz ... etc)
yes i checked and the script is the good one.Tubbs3622 wrote:Hmm, not sure. Everything is working fine here. Make sure that your GEMUS script is pointing to the 'Oricutron.txt' file in the Scripts folder and not the 'Gemus.ini' file.

That's very strange indeed!! I checked those games you mentioned and they launched as normal, in fact I spent half a day checking every single entry only a month ago to ensure everything worked ok.
This one is beyond my expertise but hopefully another forum member may be able to assist you.

PS, Symoon was cool about it, he didn't see the problem either but couldn't get permission to give me the files.
I asked Symoon about these games. Apparently there are a LOT of games released by the CEO but unfortunately they don't want them released to the public, despite the Oric being a 30 year old computer that barely anyone cares about. It's a real shame considering how many games the CEO and their 6 members (lol) are holding back. It's petty beyond beliefOX wrote:Hey Tubbs I noticed theres a few games missing, mainly CE games like Ankhsenamon but Symoon saying he has the games on the CE site, what's up there then are these games still selling or something?

If the CEO want to act like petty children about their precious 30 year old Oric then there is not a lot we can do.
Considering it's only a few games missing and the help I have been given from Symoon, Didier and many other Oric fans, I'm not going to antagonise anyone over a few old games. Without these guys this gamebase would be pretty shit anyway.Hidron wrote:Maybe those titles should include a more descriptive comment about why they are missing.
