just got it all from megaupload.
JDownloader downloaded at 850 KBS with a 40 second wait between each file. The download code was entered automatically.
after the 5 GB daily limit was reached, it reset my internet connection for a new IP and got the last 3 parts. :lol

I expect to be sh*tlisted when I go on next as I normally seed stuff but 7gig was too big to leave running..:

I really want to download this Demobase Amiga V2, as
I loved the demos a hell of a lot. What those guys could
do was unbelievable.

For somereason I keep getting:

One or more files exceed the file system limit, these
files cannot be saved properly.

Can anyone give me help on this problem. I am using
the latest version of uTorrent and this is the first time
i have ran into this problem.

I was thinking of downloading from the Megaupload link,
but as i do not have an account there, it would be pain
stakingly slow for me.

Many thanks in advance.

I think you are experiencing a problem with the file names & the path they are being saved to just being too long. uTorrent probably allows you to change the location the data files are stored (I know Vuze does). Try changing to something simple like C:\torrents or some similarly short path.

I run into similar issues all the time when opening things from backups where my paths can be quite long, and have to copy them somewhere else first.

Still no luck downloading V2.

Tried shortening the save area to just the drive letter in four different torrent clients with no luck.

Downloaded and installed JDownloader and updated it, so i could get it from the megauploads, but it says the decrypter is outdated.

Does anyone know of any other download area. Tried searching for a torrent, with no luck.

Thanks

I am sure this is because your Hard Drive is formatted as FAT32.
if so... you won't be able to save files larger than 4GB

you need to change the drive format to NTFS.
http://aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.php

if you need it to be FAT32 for your system setup, you can get round the problem by making a disk partition big enough to save the files and unpack them.
download a free partition utility to help you.
http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

make sure all your important files are backed up before you do this

and don't forget to set utorrent to download to that NTFS partition afterwards.

Hi, Mad

Your advice has solved my problem downloading.

I was indeed trying to download to an external Fat32 formatted
drive.

I am now downloading to an NTSF formatted drive without any
problem.

Many, many thanks for your help mate.
