Tukom's kingdom

Sun Sep 18, 2011 5:49 am

Hi all,

I found this site today by pure chance... I'd love to see and understand how to run the TI99/4A images. I wrote 'Tukom's Kingdom' when I was about 14 years old and I saw it on one of these lists. It would be awesome to show my son (4 years old) and nephews to connect the here and now to then.

And it crazy so see a digital history, searchable on Google that dates back 26 years!

Hi Russell,

The project should be finished and ready to download somewhere near xmas, for the purpose of the project game data can I ask you - what year did you write Tukom's Kingdom, what is your full name and was it ever published by anyone other than Tigercub, is there any other games you produced and do you still own any TI99 software?

OX.

Update - we are still pushing towards a xmas release for Gamebase TI99, I have recently discovered a large amount of new stuff that would have meant further time to implement so it's going to come in 2 increments but it is looking like Version 1.0 will be done for xmas.

it's almost ready.
just a few more weeks for version 1.

screens are finished
the script is rock solid. (well almost) ;)
all games added with sendkeys for both MESS and Classic99.

there's just a bit more programmer / company data to add.
but apart from that, it's as good as finished. :D

Stumbled on this while looking up some TI games. Very excited about this upcoming release. I was working on something like this myself a few years back but ran out of time, so much respect to those who kept at it.

I compiled the first TI-99 TOSEC dat releases way back when and have thousands of TI disk images, so if you guys are missing any titles, let me know and I'll dig around.

Hi shift838, on the offer of TI disk images - I'm collecting disks for GB TI99 V2.0 which I'll be starting work on soon after the release of V1.0, so anything I have'nt yet got hold of would be nice, unfortunately I've already got a boatload of disk images to trawl through so I could'nt say exactly what disks I don't already have - would it be asking too much for you to zip up your disk image collection and post it on somewhere like megaupload as I'm interested in getting this gamebase as complete as is feasibly possible.

I LOVE U BOTH :P
tnx fer this and Your work on it :D

Is any possibility to force CLASSIC99 to start in full screen mode by modify "classic99.ini" ? Asking because I want to feel it more comfortable (less clicks at start of emulator)
