On mine it takes me to the unzipped game files, try navagating it to the root of the drive to which your gamebase folder is, and into the gbgame\rezip folder e.g "C:\GBGame\ReZip".

I guess I was hopeing that there was a an easy way (Like "press F8 to filp disk #1")....
Having to browse to the rom folder all the time is gonna get old fast.

Thanks for the help.

The lastes version of this Apple2 gamebase for the gamebase frontend available from http://www.underground-gamer.com. This version now includes a lot more screenshots and information as well as all the Apple2GS games. It also contains some requested stuff too.

There are three versions of the first Ultima game on Apple II. You have the original Apple][ version and the AppleIIGS Remake in the set. There is a remake for the original Apple ][ as well, programmed in Assembly [the original was programmed in BASIC, and is really slow] and using the Ultima III engine. It's the one you have screenshots of, but the game you have is the original.

I have the other if you don't have it. In TOSEC it is listed as Ultima I as well, but the publisher is Origin instead of California Pacific Computer.

EDIT: You can grab it from my torrent at Underground Gamer [The Codex of Ultima Wisdom] if you don't have it, but only if you hurry. I'm the only seed left and I'm going on vacation tomorrow, and taking my hard drive with me. Otherwise any TOSEC set will do. The torrent page has screenshots for both versions though.

Damn..I downloaded it now because I understood this as saying the gamebase contains the AppleGs remake. It doesn't, there are only screenshots.
Nice work nevertheless Hardmann :)

I have created an update for Apple2ManiaV2 to fix the ultima issue and add some manuals. Download and extract, you then need to copy files to relevant locations.

It might help to run verify available files from the tools menu

Enjoy

hardmanm: some of games don't run automatically - they must be mounted by menu "DEVICES/SLOT 6 DISK #2/MOUNT". Is this possible to automate these games: dueltris, dungeon master by any way ? Asking, because I don't know how and I would like to do this great compilation even better :)

Hi just me doing my tidying up, I guess this Gamebase replaces the previous Apple2Mania & Apple2GS Gamebases (ie I can now delete those two and just have this ?).

Regards.

RE the 'they are the combined versions"...
when I run the verify on the two seperate version, I get 0 missing files.
the new V2 combined one gives missing files in games, screenshots, and extras.
is this correct?
regards,
Arthur.

Well, I just installed V2 and the update, and when I verify, the only missing item is 1 game:

P\Pick'n'Pile (1990)(Ubisoft)[cr Hackerforce].zip

Is that correct?
