I am working on a similar project. All apps and utilities provided by PlanetEmu are covered in this database.
Also an amount of originals from the C64 Preservation Project are in this database.
The database is in development for some years now, but there is still a lot of work to do. Because of that, I decided to release an early version of it.
You can download it here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/chyptn
Unpacking to the Gamebase64 folder should be enough to get it running.
Please let me know what you think of it. Enjoy! 8)

Thanks anyways NLS. I've gone to that planetemu site, and found quite a few apps that I didn't have. I understood they had the complete TOSEC collection online. If that's not true, I would love a list of the "actual" set!

Thanks!

ProductivityBase64 - That would mean Data, Graphic, Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, GEOS, Timeworks Programs,.. Real Software for the 64 (Not PD stuff!!).
Sounds like a great idea. If possible, utilities (copy programs etc..) and development applications (machine monitors, sprite editors etc...) should be included as well. There is not really enough of that stuff to warrant it's own *base project IMHO.

I have uploaded again my unfinished APPSnTOOLSbase64:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/o7ehp8

There is still a lot of work to do, but it is usable.
There are more than 2400 entries with screenshots and additional info (year, publisher, genre etc.) in it.

Great, great job! I was very pleased that you were able to use some of the stuff I gave you! :) Granted, some of my "personal" stuff was Super-Snapshotted, but wasn't anywhere else.(As far as I could tell).

btw, I have an "Updated" version of "Bank Street Music Writer". I tacked on a start screen before you load the "snapshot". Yes, there are other versions available online, BUT none of them work. Including the "so-called" Original image I found (Somewhere, it escapes me).

Mine works perfectly.. in NTSC mode only :/ - What can I say? I'm in the USA, and it was my "personal" backup for use with a 1581 drive. In drive #8.

I was particularly pleased to get the other "Bank Street" software as I didn't have "Filer" and my "Writer" was a snapshot.

Thanks for all your hard work. This stuff takes a LOT of time!

Best Regards,

JB

Just recently ran across this thread, and was wondering if it is still being worked on? Either way is it currently available anywhere?

Yes! It would be very interesting to know more about the status of the C64 applications project, hope it includes also Graphic and Music applications.

Sendspace and Rapidshare file are not available anymore.
